Ethiopia offers travelers a wonderful array of ancient historical, natural and cultural wonders and experiences. Locations like Lake Ziway, aside the spectacular Simien mountains you can find not really yet discovered the 3rd highs mount Chillalo (4000 m) which starts from the city of Arsi, from there you have view of the entire breath taking view of (arsi, ziway, koka lake, langano and abyata chala national park.)
The location of Golbe Hills Resort is 135 km from the capital Addis Ababa and located in the middle of the great rift valley. The resort is accessible with road and boat. This place called Ziway dugda (means the back of lake Ziway) which is one of the woeredas of the Oromia region of Ethiopia.
The altitude of this woreda ranges from 1500 to 2300 meters above sea level. The only river in this district is the 30 kilometers of the Katar. A survey of the land in this woreda shows that 31.7% is arable or cultivable, 6% pasture, 46.3% forest, and the remaining 16% is considered swampy, mountainous or otherwise unusable.
